1. Unplug the unit before to run the cleaning procedure.
2. Wipe exterior of the ice maker and the interior of water reservoir with a soft cloth
and wipe dry to avoid any deposits.
3. Prepare a sanitizing solution with 1:1 mix of white vinegar and distilled or purified
water and pour into water reservoir not exceed the maximum fill level.
4. Power on the unit and press “Clean” button and the "Clean" indicator lights up, it will
run cleaning procedure for around 3 minutes, then the "Clean" indicator goes out
automatically.
5. After cleaning procedure, move the unit to the edge of the desktop, make sure that
the appliance is placed steady, place a water container under the unit, pull out the
drain pipe on the back, sanitizing solution in water reservoir and the evaporator will
drain into the water container, then reinsert the plug and put it back again.
6. Flush the water reservoir with fresh water and run through the cleaning procedure
3-4 times, unplugging and draining the unit for each rinse.
7. When rinsing process is completed, plug the unit back and add fresh water ready for
ice-making.
8. Change water in the water reservoir every 24 hours to ensure a reasonable hygiene
level and run the cleaning procedure once a week.
