First, check if the ice maker wire signal arm is in the “up” or OFF position and move it to the “down” or ON position if it is (for side-mounted models). For rear-mounted ice makers, ensure the power switch is in the On (“I”) position. Also, a small ice cube might be caught in the mechanism; remove it. Lastly, the saddle valve on the cold water pipe could be clogged. In that case, turn off the household water line valve, remove and clean the valve, and replace it if necessary, ensuring it's not a self-piercing type.
