Safety Instructions
• Do not install the FRITZ!Box during an electrical storm.
• During a storm, disconnect the FRITZ!Box from elec-
tric power and from the DSL network.
• The ventilation slits of the FRITZ!Box must never be
obstructed.
• Do not place the FRITZ!Box on overly heat-sensitive
surfaces.
• Connect the FRITZ!Box to an easily accessible outlet.
• The FRITZ!Box is intended only for indoor operation.

Connect to Electric Power
Connect the FRITZ!Box to electric power. The “Power/DSL” LED begins fl ashing quickly.
Connect to a Modem
Connect the network cable to the „LAN 1“ socket on the FRITZ!Box and to the modem.

Radio Frequencies
The device receives and transmits radio waves during
operation. The radio technologies (frequencies) used are
listed on the outer cardboard box.
See the table for information about the frequency ranges
the device uses and the maximum transmitter power
associated with these ranges.

IE, IT, LT, LU, LV, MT, NL, PL, PT, RO, SE, SI, SK, UK.
Connect to the DSL Network
Connect the FRITZ!Box to your DSL line with the DSL cable.
If you have a DSL
line and also an
analog or ISDN
telephone line with a
DSL splitter, connect
the FRITZ!Box with
the DSL/telephone
cable included in the

Register Cordless Telephones
• Start your telephone.
• If you have a FRITZ!Fon, press the “Connect/WPS” button on the FRITZ!Box. The “WLAN”, “DECT”
and “Connect” LEDs fl ash and the FRITZ!Fon is registered immediately.
• Telephones from other manufacturers must fi rst be made ready for registration; then enter
the PIN of the FRITZ!Box on the telephone (a value of “0000” is preconfi gured) before concluding
registration with the “Connect/WPS” button.
