Why is my Fujitsu AST20RG not cooling well?
    • K
      Kevin GrayAug 9, 2025
Several factors can affect the cooling performance of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner. Check if the air filter is dirty or if the air intake or outlet is blocked. Also, ensure the thermostat is set correctly. Other factors include open windows or doors, direct sunlight entering the room (for cooling), or the presence of heat-generating equipment or too many people in the room during cooling operation.

Why does my Fujitsu Air Conditioner airflow become weak or stop?
    • D
      david20Aug 14, 2025
There are several reasons for weak or absent airflow in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner: - When heating starts, the fan speed is temporarily very low to allow internal parts to warm up. - During heating, if the room temperature exceeds the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit stops, and the indoor unit operates at a very low fan speed. Increase the thermostat setting to warm the room further. - During heating, the unit may temporarily stop for 7-15 minutes for automatic defrosting; the OPERATION indicator lamp will flash during this time. - The fan may operate at very low speed during dry operation or when the unit is monitoring the room's temperature. - In monitor AUTO operation, the fan operates at very low speed.

    • E
      Elizabeth RodriguezAug 25, 2025
The emission of mist or steam from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can occur in the following situations: - During cooling or dry operation, a thin mist may be seen due to the sudden cooling of room air, causing condensation. - During heating operation, the outdoor unit's fan may stop, and steam may rise from the unit because of automatic defrosting operation.

      Alexis PhillipsAug 29, 2025
Your Fujitsu Air Conditioner may produce noise due to a few reasons: - You might hear the sound of water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping during and immediately after operation. - The sound of coolant flowing may be noticeable for about 2 to 3 minutes after starting operation. - During heating, a sizzling sound may occur occasionally due to automatic defrosting.

    • D
      donna75Sep 3, 2025
The Fujitsu Air Conditioner may not operate immediately in these cases: - If the unit is stopped and then immediately restarted, the compressor will not operate for about 3 minutes to prevent fuse blowouts. - When the power supply plug is disconnected and then re-connected, the protection circuit will operate for about 3 minutes, preventing operation.

    • G
      Gabriella McdowellSep 12, 2025
If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner isn't operating, first check if the power supply plug is properly connected to the outlet. Also, verify if there has been a power failure. Check the fuse to see if it has blown or if a circuit breaker has been tripped. Lastly, make sure the timer is not in operation.
