Why is there noise coming from my Fujitsu AST24UB Air Conditioner?
    • P
      Pamela HigginsSep 16, 2025
The noise you hear from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner could be due to a few reasons. The sound of water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping may be heard during operation and immediately after stopping the unit. Noise may be particularly noticeable for about 2 to 3 minutes after starting operation (sound of coolant flowing). During Heating operation, a sizzling sound may be heard occasionally, which is produced by the Automatic Defrosting operation.

Why is mist or steam emitted from my Fujitsu AST24UB?
    • L
      Lydia HamiltonSep 14, 2025
If you notice mist or steam emitted from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner, during Cooling or Dry operation, a thin mist may be seen from the indoor unit because of the sudden cooling of room air, resulting in condensation. During Heating, the outdoor unit’s fan may stop, and steam may rise from the unit due to the Automatic Defrosting operation.

    • A
      amberbrownSep 12, 2025
A thin mist from the indoor unit during cooling or dry operation results from sudden cooling of room air, causing condensation. During heating, steam from the outdoor unit, accompanied by the fan stopping, is due to automatic defrosting operation in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner.

Why is my Fujitsu AST24UB making noise?
    • J
      Jacob LawsonSep 9, 2025
Various noises from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner are normal. You might hear water flowing during and after operation. A coolant flowing sound might be noticeable for 2-3 minutes after starting. During heating, a sizzling sound can occur due to automatic defrosting.

Why is the airflow weak or stopping in my Fujitsu AST24UB Air Conditioner?
    • J
      jennifergouldSep 8, 2025
Weak or absent airflow in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can occur for several reasons: * When heating starts, fan speed is temporarily low to warm internal parts. * During heating, if the room temperature exceeds the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit stops, and the indoor unit operates at very low fan speed. * The unit may temporarily stop during heating (7-15 minutes) for automatic defrosting. * The fan might operate at very low speed during dry operation or when monitoring room temperature. * In monitor AUTO operation, the fan operates at very low speed.

    • J
      Jason BrandtSep 6, 2025
If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner isn't operating at all, check for these potential issues: * Has there been a power failure? * Has a fuse blown or a circuit breaker tripped? * Is the timer operating?

Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner cooling/heating poorly?
    • C
      Christopher ReillyAug 21, 2025
Several factors can cause poor cooling or heating performance in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner. Check the following: * Ensure the air filter is clean. * Make sure the air conditioner's intake grille or outlet port isn't blocked. * Verify that the room temperature settings (thermostat) are correctly adjusted. * Check if any windows or doors are open. * If it's cooling operation, close curtains to block bright sunlight. Also, consider if there are too many people, heating apparatus, or computers in the room.
