Why is my Fujitsu AWT24LBAJ Air Conditioner not cooling or heating properly?
    • A
      Amanda McdanielAug 15, 2025
Several factors can affect the cooling or heating performance of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner. Check if the air filter is dirty, or if the air conditioner’s intake filter or outlet port is blocked. Ensure that you have adjusted the thermostat correctly. Also, check for open windows or doors. If you are using Cooling operation, close the curtains if sunlight is entering the room. Finally, consider if there are heating apparatus, computers, or too many people in the room.

What to do if Fujitsu AWT24LBAJ Air Conditioner doesn’t operate immediately?
    • K
      Kristopher WaltersAug 21, 2025
If the Fujitsu Air Conditioner is stopped and then immediately started again, the compressor will not operate for about 3 minutes to prevent fuse blowouts. Also, whenever the electrical breaker is turned off then on again or the power supply plug is disconnected and then reconnected, the protection circuit will operate for about 3 minutes, preventing unit operation during that period.

Why does my Fujitsu AWT24LBAJ have weak airflow or stop?
    • S
      Shelley ValdezAug 26, 2025
There are several reasons why your Fujitsu Air Conditioner's airflow might be weak or stop. When Heating operation is started, fan speed is temporarily very low to allow internal parts to warm up. During Heating operation, if the room temperature rises above the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit will stop, and the indoor unit will operate at very low fan speed; set the thermostat to a higher setting if you wish to warm the room further. The unit will temporarily stop operation (between 7 and 15 minutes) during Heating operation as the Automatic Defrosting mode operates. The fan may operate at very low speed during Dry operation or when the unit is monitoring the room’s temperature. In the monitor AUTO operation, the fan will operate at very low speed.

    • C
      Caroline SalazarSep 4, 2025
During Cooling or Dry operation, a thin mist may be emitted from the indoor unit due to the sudden cooling of room air, resulting in condensation. During Heating operation, the outdoor unit’s fan may stop, and steam may rise from the unit due to the Automatic Defrosting operation.

      Amy WellsSep 7, 2025
During operation and immediately after stopping the unit, the sound of water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping may be heard. During operation, a slight squeaking sound may occur due to minute expansion and contraction of the front cover because of temperature changes. During Heating operation, a sizzling sound may be heard occasionally, produced by the Automatic Defrosting operation.
