Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner cooling poorly?
    • C
      Christine LeeAug 12, 2025
Poor cooling performance can stem from several factors. Check if the air filter is dirty, or if the air conditioner's intake grille or outlet port are blocked. Ensure the room temperature settings (thermostat) are correctly adjusted and that no windows or doors are open. Bright sunlight entering during cooling operation can also affect performance, so close the curtains. Additionally, consider if there are heating devices or too many occupants in the room. Confirm that the unit is not set to SUPER QUIET operation.

Why is water being produced from the outdoor unit of my Fujitsu AWYZ14LBC?
    • V
      Victoria FletcherAug 16, 2025
During Heating operation, water may be produced from the outdoor unit due to Automatic Defrosting operation of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner.

Why doesn't my Fujitsu Air Conditioner operate immediately after turning it on?
    • S
      Susan GriffithAug 20, 2025
If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner doesn't operate immediately after being turned on, there are a couple of reasons. If the unit was recently stopped and restarted, the compressor won't operate for about 3 minutes to prevent fuse issues. Similarly, if the Power Supply Plug was disconnected and reconnected, the protection circuit will prevent operation for about 3 minutes.

What to do if my Fujitsu AWYZ14LBC doesn’t operate at all?
    • N
      nicholas47Aug 25, 2025
There are several reasons why your Fujitsu Air Conditioner might not be operating. First, ensure that the power supply plug is properly connected to the outlet. Check for any power failures in your area. Also, verify whether a fuse has blown or a circuit breaker has been tripped. Finally, check if the timer is currently in operation, as this could prevent the unit from starting.

Why is the airflow weak or stopping in my Fujitsu AWYZ14LBC?
    • N
      Nancy RichardsonAug 27, 2025
Weak airflow or a complete stop in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can occur for several reasons. When heating starts, fan speed is temporarily low to warm internal parts. If the room temperature exceeds the thermostat setting during heating, the outdoor unit will stop, and the indoor unit will operate at a very low fan speed. The unit may also temporarily stop (for 7-15 minutes) during the Automatic Defrosting mode in heating. During Dry operation, or when monitoring room temperature, the fan may operate at a very low speed. Also, the fan will operate at very low speed during SUPER QUIET operation and in monitor AUTO operation.

Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner emitting mist or steam?
    • J
      Joshua AllenAug 31, 2025
The mist or steam emitted from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner is normal. During Cooling or Dry operation, a thin mist may be seen emitted from the indoor unit. During Heating operation, the outdoor unit’s fan may stop, and steam may rise from the unit due to Automatic Defrosting operation.

Why does my Fujitsu AWYZ14LBC Air Conditioner emit smells?
    • A
      adamrasmussenSep 4, 2025
The smells from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner may be due to room odors (furniture, tobacco, etc.) that have been drawn into the unit.

Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner making noises?
    • M
      markmeyerSep 8, 2025
The noises you hear coming from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner are usually normal. During and immediately after operation, the sound of water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping may be heard. A slight squeaking sound may occur due to minute expansion and contraction of the front cover caused by temperature changes. During Heating, a sizzling sound may be heard occasionally, which is produced by the Automatic Defrosting operation.
