Why is my Fujitsu Halcyon ASU12RLQ Air Conditioner cooling poorly?
    • T
      Travis LopezAug 17, 2025
Poor cooling performance can occur if the air filter is dirty, the intake grille or outlet port is blocked, the room temperature settings are incorrect, a window or door is open, bright sunlight enters the room (during cooling), there are heating devices or too many people in the room (during cooling), or the unit is set to SUPER QUIET operation. Check these possible causes and adjust accordingly.

      Stephanie MorganAug 20, 2025
If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner doesn't operate at all, check the following: * Ensure the Power Supply Plug is connected to the outlet. * Check for a power failure. * See if a fuse has blown or a circuit breaker has tripped. * Verify the timer is not in operation.

Why does the Fujitsu Halcyon ASU12RLQ airflow become weak or stop?
    • J
      johnpetersonAug 26, 2025
Weak airflow or a complete stop in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can occur for several reasons: * When heating starts, the fan speed is temporarily very low to allow internal parts to warm up. * During heating, if the room temperature rises above the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit will stop, and the indoor unit will operate at very low fan speed. Set the thermostat higher if you wish to warm the room further. * The unit will temporarily stop during heating (between 7 and 15 minutes) for automatic defrosting. * The fan may operate at very low speed during dry operation or when monitoring the room’s temperature. * The fan will operate at very low speed during SUPER QUIET operation. * The fan will operate at very low speed in monitor AUTO operation.

    • M

Why doesn’t my Fujitsu Halcyon ASU12RLQ Air Conditioner operate immediately after turning it on?
    • R
      robertsonleslieSep 5, 2025
If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner doesn't operate immediately after being stopped and restarted, it's because the compressor will not operate for about 3 minutes to prevent fuse blowouts. Also, if the Power Supply Plug is disconnected and then re-connected, the protection circuit will operate for about 3 minutes, preventing operation.

Why is mist or steam emitted from my Fujitsu Air Conditioner?
    • D
      dale23Sep 8, 2025
During Cooling or Dry operation of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner, a thin mist may be emitted from the indoor unit. This is due to the sudden cooling of room air by the air emitted from the air conditioner, resulting in condensation and misting. During Heating operation, the outdoor unit’s fan may stop, and steam may rise from the unit due to Automatic Defrosting operation.

Why does my Fujitsu Air Conditioner smell?
    • T
      tracimahoneySep 12, 2025
Some smell may be emitted from the indoor Fujitsu Air Conditioner unit as a result of room smells (furniture, tobacco, etc.) which have been taken into the air conditioner.
