Why is my Fujitsu Inverter ASTB24LDC Air Conditioner cooling poorly?
    • F
      Frank TaylorAug 17, 2025
Several factors can impact cooling performance. Check if the air filter is dirty, or if the air conditioner's intake grille or outlet port is blocked. Ensure the room temperature settings (thermostat) are correctly adjusted. Also, check for open windows or doors, bright sunlight entering the room (close the curtains), and the presence of heat-generating equipment or too many people in the room. Finally, verify that the unit is not set for SUPER QUIET operation.

    • T
      tmeltonAug 20, 2025
During Heating operation, water may be produced from the outdoor unit due to Automatic Defrosting operation.

      Mark HayesAug 26, 2025
First, ensure the power supply plug is properly connected to the outlet. Check if there has been a power failure. Inspect the fuse to see if it has blown out, or if a circuit breaker has been tripped. Finally, check if the timer is operating.

Why is the airflow weak or stopped on my Fujitsu Air Conditioner?
    • R
      robertmurphyAug 27, 2025
There are several reasons why the airflow might be weak or stopped. When heating operation is started, fan speed is temporarily very low to allow internal parts to warm up. During heating, if the room temperature rises above the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit will stop, and the indoor unit will operate at very low fan speed. Also, during heating, the unit will temporarily stop operation (between 7 and 15 minutes) as the Automatic Defrosting mode operates. The fan may operate at very low speed during Dry operation or when the unit monitors the room’s temperature. During SUPER QUIET operation, the fan will operate at very low speed. In the monitor AUTO operation, the fan will operate at very low speed.

Why is there noise coming from my Fujitsu Air Conditioner?
    • J
      John HayesAug 30, 2025
During operation and immediately after stopping the unit, the sound of water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping may be heard. Also, noise may be particularly noticeable for about 2 to 3 minutes after starting operation (sound of coolant flowing). During Heating operation, a sizzling sound may be heard occasionally, which is produced by the Automatic Defrosting operation.

Why doesn't my Fujitsu Inverter ASTB24LDC operate immediately?
    • K
      Kari GainesSep 2, 2025
If the unit is stopped and then immediately started again, the compressor will not operate for about 3 minutes to prevent fuse blowouts. Also, whenever the Power Supply Plug is disconnected and then re-connected to a power outlet, the protection circuit will operate for about 3 minutes, preventing unit operation during that period.

Why is my Fujitsu Inverter ASTB24LDC Air Conditioner emitting mist or steam?
    • T
      twalkerSep 5, 2025
During Cooling or Dry operation, a thin mist may be seen emitted from the indoor unit. This results from the sudden cooling of room air by the air emitted from the air conditioner, resulting in condensation and misting. During Heating operation, the outdoor unit’s fan may stop, and steam may be seen rising from the unit. This is due to Automatic Defrosting operation.

Why does my Fujitsu Inverter ASTB24LDC Air Conditioner smell?
    • E
      emily35Sep 8, 2025
Some smell may be emitted from the indoor unit as a result of room smells (furniture, tobacco, etc.) which have been taken into the air conditioner.

      Kathleen ArroyoSep 10, 2025
