USB port with charging function (USB Type-C)

At this USB (USB Type-C) port, you can charge a connected USB device or operate
devices without an additional power supply (e.g. a monitor or printer).
The USB Type-C connector is reversible and both ends of the cable are identical.
This is also possible with the notebook switched off, if the USB Type-C Power Delivery
on System Off function is activated in the Advanced - Miscellaneous Configurations menu
of the BIOS Setup Utility. Calling up and using the B IOS S etu p Utility is described
in section "
Settings in BIOS Setup Utility", P age 83.
USB devices are ho t-pluggable. This means you c an connect and disconnect the
cables of USB devices while the operating system is running.

USB 3.1 Gen 1 has a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbps.
USB 3.1 Gen 2 has a data transfer rate of u p to 10 Gbps.
