Usage Features:
The refrigerator features an intuitive control panel conveniently located on the front door, equipped with four buttons and a display circuit board for easy configuration.
- On/Off: The refrigerator can be turned on/off from a LOW POWER mode by long-pressing the Function button for 5 seconds.
- Temperature Control: Users can adjust the temperature settings for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. The default refrigerator temperature is 41°F, and the default freezer temperature is 0°F.
- Function Selection: The Function button allows selection between different operating modes: Off Grid Vacation Mode (Holiday Mode), Super Freezer Mode, and Super Fridge Mode.
- Off Grid Vacation Mode (Holiday Mode): In this mode, the refrigerator runs at 43°F and the freezer at 5°F. This mode helps conserve energy, especially when operating on DC12V and solar power sources, by limiting door openings and storing sensitive foods towards the rear of the fridge. For optimal performance in this mode, it's recommended to cool food to desired temperatures before disconnecting from shore power, avoid adding large amounts of warm items, and add new items in the morning to utilize solar power.
- Super Freezer Mode: This mode activates continuous compressor operation to freeze foods faster and keep them fresh. It automatically turns off after 24 hours or when the freezer sensor reaches -18°F.
- Super Fridge Mode: This mode quickly brings the fridge compartment to a set temperature of 32°F to keep food fresh. It runs for 150 minutes and then automatically exits.
- Lock/Unlock: The control panel can be locked to prevent accidental operation by pressing the Lock/Unlock button. The lock icon illuminates when activated and disappears when unlocked (by holding the button for 3 seconds).
- Open Door Alarm: A buzzer sounds if the refrigerator door is left open for more than 1 minute, stopping automatically once the door is closed.
- Food Storage Recommendations: The manual provides detailed tips for storing various types of food in both compartments, emphasizing proper packaging, avoiding overloading, and not blocking air outlets. It also advises against placing bottled or canned foods in the freezer and cooling hot foods before refrigeration.
- Accessories: The refrigerator includes a fruit and vegetable box to retain moisture, glass shelves, and bottle shelves. Instructions are provided for disassembling and installing these components.
- Traveling: The refrigerator is designed for normal transportation in an RV. Users are advised to keep doors closed, avoid traveling with food in the cavity, and turn off the refrigerator (LOW POWER MODE) when climbing off-road grades to allow compressor oil to resettle. It's recommended to ensure the refrigerator reaches a stable temperature before travel and to use Off-grid Vacation Mode for power conservation during towing.
- Storage/Winterization: For long storage, a DC12V power source maintainer is recommended. If the appliance is not in use, disconnect power, clean the interior, and leave doors propped open to prevent odors. To prevent battery discharge, the refrigerator can be turned off to enter LOW POWER mode, which deactivates interior lights, compressor, and defroster.
- Energy Saving Tips: Recommendations include keeping the refrigerator away from heat sources, cooling hot foods before storing, closing the door promptly, reducing opening frequency, and unfreezing frozen foods in the refrigerator chamber.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning: Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining the appliance's appearance and performance.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the digital panel and display with a soft cloth. Clean doors and cabinet surfaces with a mild detergent and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using thinners, car detergents, Clorox, ethereal oil, abrasive cleansers, or organic solvents, as these can damage the surface.
- Interior Cleaning: Remove all food, wipe the interior with a weak solution of baking soda, rinse with warm water, and dry thoroughly. Clean shelves and baskets. If frost accumulates, remove food and accessories, switch off power, leave doors open, and ventilate the room to accelerate thawing. Clean the freezer after defrosting.
- Door Seals Cleaning: Keep door seals clean to prevent sticking and tearing. Wash with mild detergent and warm water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Defrosting: The appliance has an automatic defrosting function, eliminating the need for manual defrosting.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common issues such as button failure, low voltage, long start times, hot middle beams, dew drops, noise, hot compressor, long compressor running time, and non-working lights. It advises users to disconnect power before troubleshooting and to contact a qualified service engineer or authorized Service Centre for repairs if issues persist.
