DESCALING
Descaling is necessary every 1-2 months; should water be very hard, descale the
machine more frequently. The machine must be on; it automatically controls the distri-
bution of the descaling solution.
Warning! Never use vinegar as a descaling agent. You can use any com-
mercially available non-toxic, non-harmful descaling product for coffee ma-
chines. We recommend using a Gaggia descaling agent.
The machine must be des-
caled every 1-2 months.
Dispense the descaling
solution into the con-
tainer.
Switch off the machine
and remove the con-
tainer.
If the descaling cycle is interrupted, the
water tank and internal machine circuits
must be rinsed. Type “B” routing.
After descaling the machine, you must prime
the pump.
Insert the plug
(if necessary).
Switch on the machine.
Place a large contai-
ner beneath the steam
wand.
If the container fi lls,
empty it.
When the water has run out, press
the button and close the knob. Re-
move the container.
Switch off the machine.
Pull out the plug.
Fill the water tank with the
descaling solution.
Open the knob and press
the button.
The machine will start
descaling.
After approximately 30
seconds, press the but-
ton and close the knob.
After 10 minutes, follow
instructions (A) or (B)
Whether there is
descaling solution
in the tank.
Check
Whether the tank is
empty.
Switch on the machine.Remove the tank, rinse
it out and fi ll it with fresh
drinking water.
