Defrosting by time
1 Press Time Defrost. The display shows “00:00” and “DEF.”
2 Use the number pad to enter the defrosting time you want. The time range must be between 00:01 and 99:99.
3 Press Start to start defrosting. The remaining cooking time is displayed.
Note
While defrosting, the microwave pauses and beeps to remind you to open the
door and check the food. Turn your food over for uniform defrosting, then press
Start to defrost for the remaining time.
Quickly defrosting one pound
• Press 1 LB Defrost. Your microwave starts defrosting.

Cooking with the auto menu
Cheese or butter
1 Press the food item (Cheese or Butter) that you want to heat.
2 Press 1 or 2 on the number pad, depending on weight (oz.) of the item (see table below).
3 Press Start.

Pizza, potato, meat, reheat, or veggies
1 Press the food item (Pizza, Potato, Meat, Reheat, or Veggies) that you want to heat.
2 Enter the food weight (in ounces) with the number pad. The weight must be within the range in the table below.
3 Press Start.

Pizza 10–28 oz.
Potato 1–48 oz.
Meat 1–32 oz.
Reheat 1–37 oz.
Veggies 1–48 oz.
Popcorn
1 Press Popcorn. The display shows “1_7” and “OZ.”
2 Use the number pad to enter the amount of popcorn:
• Press 1 for 1.7 oz.
• Press 2 for 3.0 oz.
• Press 3 for 3.2 oz.
3 Press Start.
