    Why is my Galmet SGW(S) Maxi 250 Water Heater relief valve leaking?

      A Galmet Water Heater relief valve might leak because the faying surface is contaminated or damaged. Try to clean or lap the faying surface of the relief valve. Another reason could be that the water pressure is too high; in that case, use a pressure regulator.

      If the DHW water is dirty, it might be due to a build-up of deposits in the tank, or the magnesium anode may be used up. Clean the tank of any deposits, or replace the magnesium anode (not covered by the warranty).
