The bite fork must be attached, with the impres-
sions exactly positioned on the teeth. Then,
connect the bite fork to the upper face-bow.
Tighten the screws of the bite fork support and
thus fix the position of the upper jaw to the face
bow.
Please check that all of the face-bow screws are
tightened correctly. Then the elastic retention
band can be opened, and the face-bow should
be carefully pulled away from the patient, for-
ward and down.
Mount the axis indicator holder to the face bow,
and then adjust and fix the short axis pins to the
marked hinge axis points.
