When installing the cable in gutters and drainage pipes, use the “double run”
of the cable. Clips should be attached every 12-inches. Spacers should be in-
stalled every 3-feet along the roof. The cable should be suspended at the bot-
tom of the gutter.

Figure out first the total cable length required for installation in the drainage
pipe.
It is important to determine the cable length as accurately as possible, because
it should be flush with the end of the drainage pipe. Several different methods
