Before installing RollApp, read this installation and the safety instruction carefully. The installation and implementation of this product must be carried
out by a motorization and home automation professional, in accordance with the GAPOSA instructions and the regulations applicable in the country of
commissioning.
The installer must inform his customers of the conditions of use and maintenance of the product. Any use outside the scope of application defined by
GAPOSA is prohibited. As with any breach of the instructions in this manual, it would result in the exclusion of liability and warranty claims under GA-
POSA. Before installation, check the compatibility of this product with the associated equipment and accessories. Please read these warnings carefully,
they supplement the product manuals before using RollApp home automation solutions. Please also notify all other RollApp users of the following.

product manual, in the safety instructions and warnings below. For information, advice and complaints regarding the use of RollApp home automation

GAPOSA Srl has developed RollApp to control GAPOSA radio products, including motors for shutters and blinds as well as receivers and sensors of the
same brand. The control of garage doors and gates is not recommended and therefore excluded from RollApp.
When configuring or using a home automation system, users must take into account the environment of the home as well as each specific equipment or
any particular situation relative to each of the residents. Users must take additional precautions when remotely configuring connected equipment or when
its operation is likely to affect children, persons with reduced mobility or animals. Users must use the GAPOSA home automation services in their area of
use (see applicable sales documentation) and set up the operating scenarios correctly so that they do not create any risk for the residents of the house.
The functioning of GAPOSA home automation solutions must be tested periodically by the main user. The latter must regularly check the various connec-
tions and operating scenarios. GAPOSA recommends that the connected equipment and its settings be subject to preventive maintenance and regularly
checked by a home automation professional, at the initiative of the Primary User.

Overview

This document serves as a quick guide for the GAPOSA RollApp, a system designed to control GAPOSA motorized products.

Function Description:

The GAPOSA RollApp system allows users to control up to 32 different GAPOSA motorized products, such as motors for shutters and blinds, as well as receivers and sensors of the same brand, from a mobile application. The system operates using a hub that connects to your home Wi-Fi network and communicates with the motorized products via a 434MHz radio frequency. This enables control of these products from anywhere the user has internet access. The RollApp is compatible with popular voice assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing for integrated smart home control. The control of garage doors and gates is not recommended and is excluded from RollApp functionality.

Usage Features:

The RollApp system is designed for ease of use and integration into a smart home environment.

  1. App Download and Installation: The free Gaposa RollApp is available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  2. Hub Setup:
    • Plug the hub into an outlet within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and Gaposa powered shades.
    • Connect your mobile device to the hub's temporary Wi-Fi network (e.g., GAPOSA-c045) using the password "GaposaInit" (case sensitive).
    • Access the hub's sign-in page (if not automatically redirected, do so from settings) and select "Configure new Wifi."
    • Choose your home Wi-Fi network from the list, enter its password, and click "Apply."
    • Exit the hub's sign-in page and reconnect your mobile device to your home Wi-Fi network.
  3. Account Creation and Login:
    • Open the RollApp and create a new account by clicking "Add New Account."
    • The app will request location permissions for sunset/sunrise control; these should be allowed.
    • Fill out the registration form with your desired account information.
    • Read and accept the privacy policy.
    • The app will attempt to auto-fill your location details; confirm these are correct.
    • Sign in using your newly created credentials.
  4. Hub Registration:
    • Scan the QR code located on the base of your LinkIT hub or manually enter its serial number.
    • Click "Register Now." The app will ask for camera access to take a picture of the QR code.
  5. Adding Rooms and Shades: Once the app and hub are set up, you can begin adding rooms and shades to organize and control your motorized products.
  6. Remote Control: Control your Gaposa motorized products from the app from anywhere you are.
  7. Voice Control: Integrate with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for hands-free control.
