Quick guide to Garmin GPS 12 and GPS III
The GPS III is in the DG-300 and the GPS 12 is in the Vega. The power supply
voltages are different and so they must not be swapped.
Waypoints and routes
Each unit can store up to 500 waypoints and 20 routes. About 50 waypoints from
the BGA turnpoint list have been pre-loaded, and 20 tasks of varying lengths have
been set up in the routes.
On / Off buttons
To turn GPS12 off,
press and hold for 2
seconds.
