The GFM400 Series is designed to meet the requirements of class T1.
The GFM400 Series has been submitted for European Type Assessment. This assessment examines the design
and construction criteria set out above and controls the manufacture. This process is defined in Annex II of
the European ATEX Directive 94/9/EC. This allows the instrument to carry the ‘Ex’ logo followed by a
summary of the level of protection that is incorporated into the instrument.
