D. Push power switch on, which is located on the back side
of the unit.
E. Pull up and hold the solution release trigger an d apply
two spraying strokes by moving the carpet shampooer/
extractor forward and then backward at a moderate pace
two times. As the n ozzle moves over the carpet, the
cleaning solution is sprayed onto the carpet. At the same
time the nozzle picks up th e dirty water and places it in
the recovery tank. It is important to move the carpet
sh ampooer/ extractor in a steady motion over any surface.
F. Release the trigger to stop the solution flow. Avoid over-
soaking.
G. Move the carpet shampooer/ extractor over th e carpet
several more times without engaging the trigger. Repeat
this process until little or no water is visibly traveling under
the clear suction shield. Th is removes excess water and
helps the carpet dry faster.
H. Repeat steps E, F, and G on heavily soiled areas.
Transporting the Carpet Shampooer/Extractor
When moving th e carpet shampooer/ extractor from one location to another, always make sure the recovery and
clean water solution tanks are completely empty. Then tilt the unit slightly backward and roll on rear wheels or use
the carpet shampooer/ extractor’s carrying handle for transportin g up and down stairs.
