TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Iron does not
heat up.
• Theplug (11) is not
connected properly to the
wall outlet.
• The fabric setting
display (7) is set to
position.
• The auto shut-off function
has been activated.
• Ensure the plug (11) is
properly connected to the
wall outlet.
• Ensure the fabric setting
display (7) lights up.
• Press the fabric setting
button (7) if the auto
shut-off function has been
activated.
Water leaks out
of the iron.
• The water reservoir (12) is
overfilled.
• The set temperature has
not been reached or is
too low.
• Do not overfill the water
reservoir (12).
• Allow sufficient time for
the iron to preheat or set
higher temperature.
Iron does not
produce steam.
• Water level in the water
reservoir (12) is too low.
• The set temperature has
not been reached.
• The function knob
(4)
is not set to the steam
ironing
position.
• Anti-drip function shuts
off steam when the
temperature setting is
too low.
• Add water in the water
reservoir (12).
• Allow sufficient time for
the iron to preheat.
• Ensure the function
knob
(4) is set to the
steam ironing
position.
• Set temperature higher.
Iron leaves spots
on fabrics.
• Beforeuse, there is
water left in the water
reservoir (12). Leftover
water may discolor
clothing and the
soleplate (14).
• Always empty the water
reservoir (12) after use.
