Why is my GE 20 Refrigerator not working?
    • Z
      ztranJul 26, 2025
Your GE Refrigerator might not be operating due to several reasons: * It may be in defrost cycle. If so, wait about 30 minutes for the cycle to end. * The freezer control could be in the 0 (off) position. Adjust it to a lower temperature setting. * The refrigerator might be unplugged. Ensure the plug is completely pushed into the outlet. * A blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker can also be the cause. Replace the fuse or reset the breaker. * The Energy Smart™ feature might be altering performance. Allow about 2 hours for normal operation to resume. * Warm weather or frequent door openings can impact performance. Try setting the temperature control one step colder. * Also, check if a package is holding the door open.
