Do Not Operate in Freezing Outdoor Conditions
This cool-only air conditioner was not designed fi)r
ti'eezing outdoor conditions. It must not be used in
ti'eezing outdoor conditions.
When the air conditioner is turned on, # will
automatically start in the setting last used.
Power Outage Recovery Feature
In tile case el a power outage or interruption, tile
unit will automatically re-start in tile settings last
used after the power is restored. The Timerand
Sleep teatures will reset to tile original setting.
_m may need to set a new time if desired.
Cool Mode
Use the Cool mode with High (3), Med (2) or
Low (1) fan fin" cooling. Use the Increase • /
Decrease • pads to set the desired temperature
between 64°F and 86°F in 1°F increments.
A them_ostat is used to maintain the room
temperature. Tile compressor will cycle on and off
to keep tile room at tile set level of comiort. Set tile
them/ostat at a lower number and the indoor air
will become coole_: Set the them_ostat at a higher
ntlll/bei" and the indoor air will become warmer
NOTE:If the air conditioneris off andis then turned on
whileset to Cool,it will take approximately3 minutesfor
thecompressorto startand coolingto begin.
CoolingDescriptions
For Normal Coolino--Select tile Coolmode
and High (3) or Med (2)tan with a middle set
temperature.
For Maximum Cooling--Select the Cool mode
and High (3)tim with a lower set temperature.
For Quieter & Nighttime Coolino--Select the
Coolmode and Low (1)tan with a middle set
temperature.
NOTE: If you switch from a Cool setting to Off or to
a fan setting, wait at least 3 minutes before switching
back to a Cool setting.
Fan Mode
Lrse tile Fan at High (3), Med (2) or Low (1) to pr(Mde Since tim only settings do not provide cooling,
air circulation and filtering without cooling, a temperature setting will not be displayed.
Vent Control (on some models)

OPEN, some inside air is exhausted outside.
