B. Usage Situations Where Appliance Power Cord Will
Be Disconnected Frequently.
Donot use an adapter plug in these situations because
disconnecting of the power cord places undue strain on
the adapter and leads to eventual failure of the adapter
ground terminal. Thecustomer should havethe 2-prong
wall receptacle replaced with a 3-prong (grounding)
receptacle by a qualified electrician before using the
appliance.
Theinstallation of appliances designed for mobile
home installation must conform with the Manufactured
Home Construction and Safety Standard, Title 24 CFR,
Part3280 (formerly the Federal Standard for Mobile Home
Construction and Safety,Title 24, HaD, Part 280)or,
when such standard is not applicable, the Standard
for Manufactured Home Installations,latest edition
(Manufactured Home Sites,Communities and Set-Ups),
ANSIA225.1,latest edition, or with local codes. In Canada,
mobile home installation must be in accordance with the
current CAN/CSAZ240/MH Mobile Home Installation Code.
Electric Disconnect
• Locate disconnect plug on the range back.
• Pinchsidesof connector and pull out of range back.

Sealany openings in the wall behind the range and
in the floor under the range when hookups are completed.
CHECK OPERATION OF SURFACE
BURNERS
Operationof allcooktopand ovenburnersshouldbe checked
afterthe rangeand gassupplylineshavebeencarefully
checkedfor leaks.
Lighting the Burners
Selecta top burnerknob andsimultaneouslypush inand turn
to LITEposition.Youwill hearaclicking soundindicatingproper
operationofthe sparkmodule.Oncethe air has beenpurged
from thesupplylines,burnersshouldlightwithin 4 seconds.
Afterburnerlights,rotate knob out of the LITEposition.Tryeach
burnerin successionuntilall burnershavebeenchecked.

Thecombustionqualityof burnerflamesneedsto be
determinedvisually.
(A) Yellow flames-
Call for service
(B) Yellow tips on outer
cones- Normal for LP
gas
(C)Soft blue flames-
Normal for natural gas
If burner flumes look like (A),call for service.Normal burner
flumesshould looklike(B)or (C),dependingon the type of gas
you use.
With LPgas,someyellowtipping onouter conesis normal.

• Graspthe oven bottom at slotsoneach side.
• Liftthe rearenoughto clearthelipof therangeframe,
