Why is my GE G035 leaking water?
    • A
      Allen JacksonAug 16, 2025
If your GE Washer is leaking water, several factors could be the culprit. Ensure your fill and drain hoses are tightly connected to the faucets, with rubber washers properly installed. Avoid using too much detergent, especially if you have soft water or are washing a small or lightly soiled load. Switching to a High Efficiency detergent like Tide PODS™ may also help. Check your household plumbing for clogs, and ensure the drain hose isn't rubbing against the wall to prevent wear. Also, tighten the hoses at the faucets to address constant water pressure, and consider replacing fill hoses every 5 years.

What to do if my GE G035 Washer won’t drain?
    • J
      jordanhillAug 19, 2025
If your GE Washer isn't draining, make sure the drain hose isn't kinked or that the washer isn't sitting on it. Also, ensure the top of the drain outlet is less than 8 ft (2.44 m) above the floor.

How to reduce suds in my GE G035?
    • J
      Jennifer ArnoldAug 22, 2025
If you notice too many suds in your GE Washer, it could be due to several reasons. If you have soft water, try using less detergent. Also, make sure you are carefully measuring your detergent and using less if you have a smaller or lightly soiled load. The type of detergent you're using might also be the cause; consider switching to a High Efficiency detergent such as Tide PODS™ and liquid detergents.

How to fix low water flow in my GE Washer?
    • B
      boyerkimberlyAug 26, 2025
If you're experiencing low water flow in your GE Washer, the water valve screens may be clogged. Turn off the water source, disconnect the hoses from the washer and faucets, and clean the screens with a brush or toothpick. Reconnect the hoses and check for leaks. If the water pressure at the washer inlets is less than 20 psi while filling, consult a plumber to assess and improve your water supply pressure.

Why does the water level seem low in my GE Washer?
    • K
      kevin98Aug 28, 2025
The water level in your GE Washer may not cover the top level of the clothes. This is normal for this high efficiency washer.
  • V
    Victoria GonzalesAug 31, 2025
Why is the water temperature wrong in my GE Washer?
    • J
      Jody WhitneyAug 31, 2025
If the water temperature in your GE Washer seems incorrect, there are a few things to check. Ensure both the hot and cold water faucets are fully turned on and that the hoses are connected to the correct faucets, noting the “H” and “C” markings. Make sure your house water heater is set to deliver water at 120°F–140°F (48°C–60°C). Also, turn off the water source and inspect the water valve screens for blockages, cleaning them with a brush or toothpick if necessary. Note that new laundry detergents are designed to work with cooler water temperatures, and the washer may optimize water temperature for best results, even adding cold water when hot is selected.

How to stop water siphoning from my GE G035?
    • A
      Andrew GreenSep 3, 2025
If water is siphoning out of your GE Washer, the drain standpipe might be too low or the hose inserted too far into it. The drain hose must be higher than 30 inches at some point between the washer and the drain pipe. Consider using an anti-siphon clip.

Why does my GE G035 Washer pump water out before the cycle finishes?
    • C
      Caitlyn GreenSep 6, 2025
If the water is pumped out of your GE Washer before the cycle is complete, it might be because a previous cycle was cancelled due to water being left in the unit for 24 hours with the lid closed or 15 minutes with the lid open. To resolve this, close the lid, select a new cycle, and start the machine.

    keith41Sep 9, 2025
Why is there a delay after pressing start on my GE G035 Washer?
    • A
      Ashley SchmidtSep 9, 2025
A short spray or drain pump activation followed by a delay after pressing the Start button on your GE Washer is normal if the lid was opened and closed between cycle selection and start.

Is it normal for a small amount of water to remain in the dispenser of my GE G035 Washer?
    • M
      Mrs. Casey KruegerSep 12, 2025
