Water Filter Cartridge
Thewater filter cartridge islocated in the
back upper right corner of the refrigerator
compartment.
When to Replace the Filter
Thefilter cartridge should be replaced
when the flow of water to the icemaker
decreases,or everUsix months.
Installing the Filter Cartridge
0 If Uouare replacing the cartridge, first
remove the old one. Openthe cartridge
cover bg pressing in on the tab at the
front and pulling down.
Removethe cartridge bg slowlu rotating
it counterclockwise. A small amount of
water mag drip down.
CAUTION: Ifoirhosbeen
trapped in the system, thefilter cartridge may
be ejectedas it is removed. Usecaution when
removing.
Removethe protective foil from the end
of the cartridge.
Liningup the arrow on the cartridge
and the cartridge holder,slowlu rotate
the cartridge clockwise until it stops.
When the cartridge isproperlu installed,
Uouwill feelit "click" as it locks into place.
Thegrip on the end of the cartridge
should be positioned verticallu.
Do not overtighten.
Closethe cartridge cover.
Filter Bypass Plug
Youmust usethe filter bgpass plug when a
replacement filter cartridge is not available.
The icemakerwill not operate without the
filter or filter bypass plug.
