Why does water not enter my GE GFWS2600, or enters slowly?

  If water does not enter your GE Washer or enters slowly, it could be due to automatic system checks that occur after the Start button is pressed; water will flow 60 seconds after Start is pressed. Another reason could be that the water supply is turned off; turn on both hot and cold faucets fully. Also, the water valve screens might be clogged; turn off the water source, remove the water connection hoses from the back of the washer, clean the screens, and reconnect the hoses.
