Time Defrost
Allows gou to defrost for o selected length
oftime. Seethe Defrosting Guidefor

1. PressTIMEDEFROST.
2. Enter defrosting time.
3. Press START/PAUSE
4. Turn the food over after half the time.
5.Press START/PAUSE
Powerlevel is outomoticollg set at 3,but

the total defrosting time inabout half;
power level 10 cuts the total time to
opproximotelg 1/3. However,food will need
more frequent attention than usual.
At one half of selected defrosting time, turn
food over and break aport or rearrange
piecesfor more even defrosting. Shieldong
worm areas with small piecesof foil.The
ovenwill continue to defrost if gou don't
open the door and turn the food.
A dull thumping noise mog be heard
during defrosting. Thisis normal when
oven isnot operating at Hipower.
Defrosting Tips
•Foodsfrozenin paperor plasticcon be
defrostedinthe package.Closedpackages
shouldbeslit, piercedorvented AFTER
foodhas portiollgdefrosted.Plasticstorage
containersshould be portiollg uncovered.
• Fomilg-size,prepackaged frozen dinners
con be defrosted and microwoved. Ifthe
food is in o foil container,transfer it to o
microwave-safe dish.
• Foodsthat spoil easily should not be
allowed to sit out for more than one hour
offer defrosting. Room temperature
promotes the growth of harmful bacteria.
• When defrosted, food should be cool
but softened in oil areas. Ifstill slightlg icg,
return to the microwave very briefly, or
let it stand o few minutes.
