Your cooktop is shipped from the factory set to operate only with Natural Gas.
If you wish to use your cooktop with Liquefied Petroleum Gas, you must follow the
Installation Instructions packed with your cooktop. See LP Conversion Instructions.
This conversion must be performed by a qualified technician.
Clean the cooktop surface with caution.
If a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe
spills on a hot surface, be careful to avoid
steam burns. Some cleaners can produce
noxious fumes if applied to a hot surface.
NOTE: We recommend that you avoid
wiping any surface areas until they have
cooled. Sugar spills are the exception to
this. Please see Cleaning the glass cooktop
surface section.
When the cooktop is cool, use only
CERAMA BRYTE
®
Ceramic Cooktop
Cleaner and the CERAMA BRYTE
®
Cleaning Pad to clean the cooktop.
To avoid possible damage to the cooking
surface, do not apply cleaning cream to
the glass surface when it is hot.
After cleaning, use a dry cloth or paper
towel to remove all cleaning cream
residue.
Read and follow all instructions and
warnings on the cleaning cream labels.
Never clean the cooktop surface when it is
hot. Some cleaners produce noxious fumes
and wet cloths could cause steam burns if
used on a hot surface.
Never leave jars or cans of fat drippings
on or near your cooktop.
Don’t use aluminum foil to line burner
bowls. Misuse could result in a fire hazard
or damage to the cooktop.
Do not cover or block the area around the
cooktop knobs. This area must be kept
clear for proper ventilation and burner
performance.
Large scratches or impacts to glass
cooktops can lead to broken or shattered
glass.
Clean only parts listed in this Owner’s
Manual.
