Oven Light Bulb (onsomemodels)
NOTE:Theglasscover(onsomemodels)should
beremovedonlywhencold.Wearinglatexgloves
mayoffer a bettergrip.
Before replacing the bulb, disconnect
electrical power to the oven at the main
fuse or circuit breaker panel. Let the
bulb cool completely before removing it.
For your safety, do not touch a hot bulb
with a damp cloth. If you do, the bulb
will break.
Toremove:
Turn the glass cover counterclockwise
1/4 turn until the tabs of the glass cover
clear the grooves of the socket. Remove
the bulb.
Toreplace:
Put in a new 40-watt appliance bulb.
Place the tabs of the glass cover into the
grooves of the socket. Turn the glass
cover clock-wise 1/4 turn.
NOTE=

m Installand tightenthecoverclockwise.
I Reconnectelectricalpowerto theoven.
l= Forimprovedlightinginsidetheoven,clean
theglasscoverfrequentlyusingawet cloth.
Thisshouldbedonewhentheovenis
completelycool.

NOTE."The glass cover (on some
models) should be removed only when
cold. Wearing latex gloves may offer a
bettergrip.
CAUTION.Before replacing your
oven light bulb, disconnect the e/ectrica/
power to the oven at the main fuse or
circuit breaker pane/.
Be sure to let the light cover and bulb
cool completely.
Foryour safety,do not touch a hot bulb
with bare hands or a damp cloth. :
Toremove:
[] Turn the glass cover
counterclockwise 1/4 turn until the
tabs of the glass cover clear the
grooves of the socket.
[] Using gloves or a dry cloth, remove
the bulb by pulling it straight out.
Toreplace:
[] Use a new 130-volt Halogen bulb,
not to exceed 50 watts.
[] Using gloves or a dry cloth, remove
the bulb from its packaging. Do not
touch the bulb with bare fingers.
[] Push the bulb straight into the
receptacle all the way.
[] Place the tabs of the glass cover into
the grooves of the socket. Turn the
glass cover clockwise 1/4 turn.
For improved lighting inside the
oven, clean the glass cover
frequendy using a wet cloth. This
should be done when the oven is
completely cool.
] Reconnect electrical power to
the oven.
