To use the large surface element, turn

and turn the control knob to the desired
setting. The element will heat the entire
area contained by the larger circle.
To use the small sm_hce element, turn

setting. The element will only heat the
area inside the smaller circle.
Surface Elements Cycle On and Off
Suitace eleinents will cycle on and off
to maintain the temperatm'e you have
selected.
_dl radiant smti_ce elements have a
temperatm'e limiter that protects the
glass cooktop fl'om getting too hot.
The temperatm'e limiter may cycle the
elements off while cooking if:
