Thetemperaturecontrolsarepresetinthefactoryat37°Fforthe refrigeratorcompartmentandO°Fforthe
Freezercomportment.Allow24hoursforthetemperatureto stabilizeto thepresetrecommendedsettings.
ThetemperaturecontrolscondispfogboththeSETtemperatureas wellastheactualtemperaturein
therefrigeratorandfreezer.TheactualtemperaturemayvaryslightlyfromtheSETtemperaturebased
on usageandoperatingenvironment.
_ Onsomemodels,settingbothcontrolsto thewarmestsettinguntilthedisploblflashes(off)will stop
coolingin boththefreezerandrefrigeratorcompartments.
_ Onothermodels,settingeithercontrolto thewarmestsettinguntilthedisplogflashes(off)willstop
thecoolingto thefreezerandrefrigerator.
_ NOTE:Turningtherefrigeratoroffviathecontrolsonthetouchpaneldoesnotshutoff electricalpower
totherefrigerator.
NOTE:Therefrigeratorisshippedwithprotectivefilmcoveringthetemperaturecontrols.Ifthisfilmwas
notremovedduringinstallation,removeit now
Performance Air Flow Sblstem
ThePerformanceAir-FlowSgstemisdesignedto
maximizetemperaturecontrolinthe refrigerator
andfreezercomportments.Thisuniquespecial
featureconsistsof the AirToweralongthe back
walloftherefrigeratorandthe AirTunnelonthe
bottomportionofthefreezerrearwall.Placing
foodinfrontofthe louversonthesecomponents
willnot affectperformance.AlthoughtheAirTower
andtheAirTunnelcanberemoved,doingsowill
affecttemperatureperformance.(Forremoval

How it Works
TurboCoolrapidlgcoolsthe refrigerator
compartmentin orderto morequicklgcoolfoods.
UseTurboCoolwhenaddinga largeamount
offoodtotherefrigeratorcompartment,putting
awagfoodsaftertheghavebeensittingout at
roomtemperatureorwhen puttingawagwarm
leftovers.Itcanalsobeusedif the refrigeratorhas
beenwithoutpowerfor anextendedperiod.
Onceactivated,the compressorwill turn on
immediatelgandthefanswill cgcleonandoff
at highspeedasneededfor eighthours.
Thecompressorwill continueto rununtilthe
refrigeratorcompartmentcoolsto approximatelg
34°F(1°C),thenitwillcgcleonandoff to maintain
thissetting.After8 hours,orif TurboCoolis
pressedagain,therefrigeratorcompartment
willreturnto theoriginalsetting.
Howto Use
PressTurboCool.TheTurboCooltemperature
displagwill showTcandthe LEDwillbeactivated.
AfterTurboCooliscomplete,the TurboCool
indicatorlightwill goout.
NOTES:Therefrigeratortemperaturecannot
bechangedduringTurboCool.
Thefreezertemperatureisnot affected
duringTurboCool.
Whenopeningtherefrigeratordoor
duringTurboCool,thefanswillcontinue
to runif theg havecgcledon.
