System Descaling / Sanitizing Procedure

1. Unplug Opal.

Sanitizing:

and then adding one teaspoon of bleach.
5. Pour solution into water reservoir, up to the fill line

8. Descaling: run the clean cycle up to 3 times and then
let the unit sit for 18 hours and soak. While the unit is
soaking, dip a cloth in the solution and wipe the inner
walls. Use a cotton swab to clean any cracks. When
you are done, rinse the cloth with clean water and wipe

process for very heavy scale deposits.
Sanitizing: once the Cleaning indicator turns off,
promptly drain the Opal.
