Install the charcoal filter. When properly installed,
the wire mesh of the filter should be visible from
the front.
Replace the grille and the screws.
Close the door.

Insert mesh-side up
On 1400 and 1600 Series models, remove screws
on front of grille using a #1 Phillips screwdriver.
On 1800 Series models, remove screws on top
front of grille using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
Open the door.
Remove the grille.
On 1400 and 1600 Series models, pull the grille
straight off.
On 1800 Series models, slide the grille to the left
and pull it straight off.

Tighten the outer two screws to the top of the
microwave oven. (While tightening screws, hold
the microwave oven in place against the wall and
the top cabinet.)
Insert 2 self-aligning screws
through outer top cabinet
holes. Turn two full turns on
each screw.
Tighten center
screw completely.
Install grease filter. See the Owner’s Manual
packed with the microwave.
