How to Use
Placefood (wrapped in plasticwrap)
on QuickFreezeplate. Turnthe feature
on via the LCDcontrols.
Some LCD Models Only:
Access By: Home > Options > Freezer Options
> OuickFreeze
Activate By: Using the arrows to select
the time and pressing Enter.
Deactivate By: Pressing OFF.
NOTE: While the QuickFreeze feature is
enabled, the actual freezer temperature may
drop as low as -3°F (-19°C). This is normal.

When to Replacethe Filter
LCDModels:
Apop-upscreenwillappearonthe LCDscreen
toremindyouto replacethewaterfilter.Youcan
checkthe statusofthe waterfiltermanually.

ResetWaterFilter
Non-LCDModels:
Thereisa replacementindicatorlightfor the water
filtercartridgeonthe dispenser.Thislightwill turn
orangeto tellyouthat youneedto replacethe
filtersoon.
Thefiltercartridgeshouldbereplacedwhenthe
replacementindicatorlightturnsredor iftheflow
ofwaterto thedispenseror icemakerdecreases.
Removing the Filter Cartridge
If youarereplacingthe cartridge,firstremove
theoldoneby slowlyturningit to the left.Donot
pulldownonthecartridge.Asmallamountof
watermaydripdown.
Installing the Filter Cartridge

Thereisanadapterattachedto thetop
ofthenewfiltercartridge.
Theadaptermustberemovedbefore
installingthecartridge.Toremovethe
adapter,turnittotheleftabout 1//4turn.
0 Fillthereplacementcartridgewithwater
fromthetap to allowfor betterflowfrom
thedispenserimmediatelyafterinstallation.

Lineupthe arrowonthecartridgeand
thecartridgeholdeEPlacethetopofthenew
cartridgeupinsidethe holde_Donot push
it upintothe holder.
O Slowlyturnitto therightuntilthefilter
cartridgestops.DONOTOVERTIGHTEN.
Asyouturnthecartridge,itwillautomatically
raiseitselfintoposition.Thecartridgewill
rotateabout 1/2turn.
O Runwater from the dispenserfor 5 minutes
to clear the system and prevent sputtering.
LCDModels:
PressFILTERREPLACEDbuttontoconfirm
replacement.
Non-LeOModels:
PresstheSETFEATURESpaduntilREPLACE
WATERFILTERislit. Pressandholdthe
ON/OFFpadfor 3seconds.WATERFILTER
ISRESETwillshowin thewindow.

Filter Bypass Plug
Youmustusethe filterbypassplugwhena
replacementfiltercartridgeisnotavailable.
Thedispenserandthe icemakerwill not operate
withoutthefilteror filterbypassplug.
