remove the gri!!e,
If the model is not vented
to the outside, the air will
be recirculated tilroug'll a
disposable charcoal filter
ti_at helps remove smoke
and odors.
The charcoal filter should
be replaced when it is
noticeably dirt T or
discolored (usually after
6-1 2 months, depending
on hood usinge). See
"Optional Kits," page 9,

To remove the charcoal
filter, disconnect power at
the main fl_se or circuit
breaker panel or pull
ti_e i31ug.
Remove the top grille by
removing the 2 screws that
hold it in place. Slide the
filter tow_rds the flont of
the oven and remove it.

To install a new filter,
remoxe plastic and other
outer wrapping fl'om the
new filter.
Insert the filter into the
top opening of the oven
as shown. It will rest at an
angle on 2 side support
tabs and in fl'ont of the
right rear tab. Replace
ti_e grille and 2 screws.
