7. Press Multi beat*
Tips: Adjust frame rate knob for optimal balance between
endocardial border visualization (spatial resolution) and
endocardial motion (temporal resolution)
Use Angle button on control panel – SAX volume view –
allows “centering” of the RV in the capturing volume

* Most RV Volumes require Multi beat acquisition for higher frame rates in
order to use the RV Vol tool accurately. If using single beat skip steps 6&7

8. Press Image Store or Freeze
Tip: If ‘‘preview on’’ – Use rotary knob for Cycle
Select to pick desired loop. If Freeze is pressed
then press Cine to review loop options. When
desired cycle loop is playing – Press Image Store
again to store
9. Recall image, and adjust UD Clarity
for smoothness
10. Use 9 Slice to check for volume completeness, image quality, and artifacts
Tip: 9 Slice should show continuous edges for each crescent-shaped short
axis (sagittal) view, from apex to TV annulus
