ThePrewash Compartment
Only use tile Prewash Con/partment if you
are selecting the Prewash cycle tor hea£i]_
soiled clothes. Add measured detergent or
prewasb additive to the back lett prewash
conq)artment of tile dispenser drawer
• Detergent or prewash additixe is tlushed
ti'om the dispenser ill the prewash c}cle
(if selected).
NOTE:Liquiddetergentwilldrainintothewasher
drumasit is added.
Detergent usage may need to be a(!iusted

size and soil level of the load. A_oid using
too much detergent ill _our washer as it

The Detergent Compartment
• High efficiency detergent is
recommended for this washer. Use the
detergent manufacturer's recommended
anlonnt.
The detergent selection insert must be placed
ill the detergent compartment ill a specific
position according to what t}pe of detergent
you are using.
Powder Detergent- Place the insert ill tile
rear position. The Powder Icons _ must
lille up (m center when the insert is ill the
powder position.
Liquid Detergent- Place tile insert ill tile
h)rward position. Tile i,iquid Icons (27
nmst lille up on center when tile insert is
ill the liquid position.
Move the insert by pulling it up and replace
it by sliding it down bet\_een either the rear
or front detergent con/partment molded rails,
as desired, ti)r powder or liquid detergent.

The Fabric Softener Compartment
If desired, pour tile recomn-mnded amount of
liquid thbric softener into the compartment
labeled "E_BRI(_ SOFTENER."
Use only liquid thbric softener ill tile
dispenser.
Dilutewithwatertothemaximumfill line.
Donotexceedthemaximumfill line.Overfillingcan
causeearlydispensingofthefabricsoftenerwhich
couldstainclothes.
NOTE:Donotpourfabricsoftenerdirectlyon
thewashload.
