  If your GE Air Conditioner Zoneline isn't cooling or heating properly, make sure that curtains, blinds, or furniture aren't blocking the front of the unit and that the rear grille isn't obstructed. Clean the filter every 30 days. Also, allow sufficient time for the room to cool down or warm up when the Zoneline is first turned on. Ensure the vent control is in the closed position. You can also try adjusting the control to a lower or higher setting.

  This can happen with your GE Air Conditioner Zoneline. The heat pump produces warm air, but it won't be as hot as the air produced by electric heat. Also, if the fan switches are set to continuous fan, the fan will blow room temperature air even when the compressor or heater cycles off.

  If your GE Air Conditioner Zoneline doesn't start, first ensure the plug is fully inserted into the outlet. Then, remove the room cabinet and check that the yellow connector on the power cord is firmly connected. Inspect your house's fuse or circuit breaker and replace the fuse or reset the breaker if necessary. If a power failure occurred, set the mode control to STOP, and then reset it to your desired setting once power is restored. Also, press the RESET button on the power cord plug or the box near the plug. If the reset button won't stay engaged, stop using the Zoneline and contact a qualified technician.
