Preparing the Geberit ESG3 electrofusion tool for
welding
Geberit electrofusion couplings and Geberit electrofusion
tapes require a different coupling connection cable than is
required for Geberit electrofusion couplings with integrated
thermal fuse. During the preparation work, you must ensure
that the coupling connection cable is attached correctly and
check whether you need to replace it.
Prerequisite
– The electrofusion tool is not connected to the supply voltage.
1 Loosen the knurled screw on the remote control and pull out
the coupling connection cable.


