HOW IT WORKS
Two banks of six Ultraviolet (UV) LEDS emit UV light. A small element located below the LEDS generates
heat.
2
UV light and carbon matter from dead mosquitoes produces Carbon Dioxide (CO ). This is achieved by a
2
photo-catalytic process. A Titanium Dioxide (TiO ) coating inside the unit acts as a catalyst but is not
consumed in the process.
2
The dampened foam pad releases moisture. In combination with heat and CO , the result mimics human
breath therefore turbo-charging mosquito attraction.
A Suction Fan captures attracted mosquitoes and traps them in the basket at the bottom of the unit, where
they dehydrate under the airflow and die.
HOW TO OPERATE
The Bionic Trapper can be used in any indoor living space where mosquitoes are a problem.
Kitchen, Bedrooms, Study or Living Room are just some examples.
Place the Bionic Trapper on a flat surface. Place away from human activity and competing light sources.
Make sure a power supply is nearby.
Take the supplied foam moisture pad and briefly place it under a running tap. Do not fully saturate the pad.
Load the moistened pad into the round tray located immediately under the Trapper’s lights.
Plug in the supplied power adaptor and connect it to the Bionic Trapper. Press the button located on the
Trapper body to switch on the Trapper. This switches on the UV LEDs, the unit’s internal heating elements
and also the suction fan.
