MAIN DISCONNECT SWITCH

The main disconnect switch (Figure 9), is inside the fuse access panel on
the lower dash. The switch is clearly labeled ON and OFF. The switch
is intended to provide an easy way to disconnect all power to the vehicle
during long-term storage. After disconnect is turned off, some power may
still be in the system until all capacitors have drained.
NOTE: The main disconnect switch must be turned on for operation and
charging. Also, it is recommended that if the vehicle is not to be used for
10 days or more, the main disconnect switch should be turned off to prolong
battery life.
