Attach the Handle
Place the handle onto the bottom of the handle
supports already connected to the main unit. Make
sure the holes in the handle align with the holes in
the handle supports (Figure 2).
Note: It may be necessary to move the handle
supports from side to side in order to align the handle
so it will slide over the handle supports.
Insert the carriage bolts from the outside through
the holes on the handle and attach the plastic
knobs on the inside. Tighten the knobs by hand
(Figure 3).
Insert the wire support with the longer arm
positioned on the left. From this view (from rear of
unit), the hook resembles a J (Figure 4).
Add Engine Oil
WARNING! Any attempt to crank or start the
engine before being properly serviced with the
recommended oil will result in an engine
failure.
Note: When adding oil to the engine crankcase, use
only high quality detergent oil rated with API service
classification SF,SG, SH or SH/CD rated SAE 30
weight.
Select the oils viscosity grade according to your
expected operating temperature:
Do Not Use SAE 10W40 Oil.
Although multi-viscosity oils (5W30, 10W30, etc.)
improve starting in cold weather, these multi-viscosity
oils will result in increased oil consumption when used
above 32°F. Check your engine oil level more
frequently to avoid possible damage from running low
on oil.
To fill unit with oil:
Place pressure washer on a level surface.
Clean area around oil fill and remove oil fill cap
(Figure 5).
