Pull the front cover, slide out the media carrier, and remove the old furnace filter.
Place the air cleaner cabinet into the return air system, using duct supports if needed.
Slide the media frame into the cabinet with the airflow arrow pointing towards the blower.
Install the condition indicator and nameplate in an upright orientation.
Restore power, run the furnace, calibrate the indicator, and check equipment performance.
The condition indicator gauge signals when media replacement is required.
Turn off power, remove carrier, loosen and remove pleat spacers from the frame.
Place the new media pack onto the frame, aligning holes with the cardboard strips.
Insert pleat spacers between media pleats, pressing ends down to engage the frame.
