Why does my Genius G60 Garage Door Opener courtesy light signal an anomaly?
    • A
      Austin SparksAug 4, 2025
The courtesy light may signal an anomaly because the learning procedure was unsuccessful, or (for model G100 only) switch no. 3 of DS1 was moved (automatic/manual force adjustment) and a new learning cycle was not carried out. To resolve this, perform a new learning cycle.

Why is learning not correctly terminated and the courtesy light signals an anomaly for Genius G60 Garage Door Opener?
    • J
      James McconnellAug 11, 2025
If learning is not correctly terminated and the courtesy light signals an anomaly, the automatic system may be detecting excessive difficulty in door movement. Check the door balancing and ensure it moves without excessive friction. Manually move the door using the door bar attachment to confirm smooth movement without needing excessive pushing or pulling. When using operator G100, learning can be carried out with a thrust force at 1000N or the thrust force can be manually adjusted (see chap. 8.5.)

How to fix Genius Garage Door Opener when starting the learning system and the courtesy light flashes but the automatic system does not carry out any operation?
    • E
      elizabeth31Aug 19, 2025
If, when starting the learning system, the courtesy light flashes but the automatic system does not operate, the STOP and FSW safety devices may be active even during the learning phase. Their incorrect connection or non-connection inhibits operator operation. Check the status of the LEDs, following the indications given in the “Input LEDs status” tables, and check the connections given in fig. 28.

What to do if automatic system release is difficult with Genius Garage Door Opener closed?
    • D
      Danielle JamesAug 27, 2025
If the automatic system release is difficult when the door is closed, it could be due to excessive mechanical load on the release system. To fix this, perform a new learning cycle, and then reduce the closing thrust by commanding carriage reversal as described in par. 8.5.2.
