Why is the temperature less than desired on my GGM VH-2600-115 Humidifier?
    • J
      Jenna BoltonSep 23, 2025

Why is there excessive water in the inspiratory circuit of my GGM VH-2600-115 Humidifier?
    • T
      Travis SawyerAug 25, 2025
Excessive water in the inspiratory circuit of the GGM Humidifier, also known as rainout, can occur for several reasons. If in non-heated wire mode, reposition the water trap to the lowest point of the circuit. If in heated wire mode, increase the distance from the heater wire to the temperature probe so that the distance is between 25 mm and 100mm, ideally 30mm. If the inspiratory circuit is being cooled by an air conditioner, shield the circuit or use a heater wire circuit. If the chamber control is set too high, reduce the setting. If the maximum permissible peak flow rate of the humidification chamber has been exceeded, use the correct chamber referring to the operating instructions for the chamber type. Ensure the chamber is level. Finally, check the temperature probe for any faults.

How to fix airway temperature low alarm on GGM Humidifier?
    • K
      Kristen LucasAug 26, 2025
If the airway temperature low alarm is activated on your GGM Humidifier, first check the position of the temperature probe in the circuit. If the gas flow has stopped or been interrupted, turn the humidifier off until gas flow resumes. Ensure the temperature probe is correctly fitted in its housing. Also, ensure the gas flow rate is more than 5 liters per minute; increase it if it's too low.

How to resolve airway temperature high alarm on GGM Humidifier?
    • S
      Seth CrossAug 27, 2025
If the airway temperature high alarm is activated on your GGM Humidifier, wait for the temperature to fall below the threshold if there was a sudden spurious increase in gas flow. If the heater wire is too close to the temperature probe, adjust the wire or hose so that the distance is between 25 mm and 100 mm, ideally 30 mm. Check the airway sensor on the temperature probe for faults.
