All elements are marked with both wattage and voltage. Verification can be made by measuring the ohms resistance
across the element terminals. Element must be disconnected from the circuit. The following table gives resistance in
ohms for all elements used in commercial electric water heaters. Element ohms resistance should be within ±5% of
the values below.
