1-5 Installing an Expansion Card
Readthefollowingguidelinesbeforeyoubegintoinstallanexpansioncard:
• Make sure the motherboard supports the expansion card. Carefully read the manual that came
with your expansion card.
• Always turn off the computer and unplug the power cord from the power outlet before installing an
expansion card to prevent hardware damage.

Usethe upper port(green) to connecta PS/2 mouseand the lowerport (purple) toconnect a PS/2
keyboard.
D-Sub Port
TheD-Subportsupportsa15-pinD-Subconnectorandsupportsamaximumresolutionof
1920x1200@60Hz (the actualresolutionssupported depend onthemonitor being used).Connect a
monitorthatsupportsD-Subconnectiontothisport.
HDMI Port
TheHDMI port supportsHDCP2.2 and DolbyTrueHDand DTSHDMaster
Audioformats.Italsosupports upto192KHz/16bit8-channelLPCMaudio
output.YoucanusethisporttoconnectyourHDMI-supportedmonitor.Themaximumsupported
resolutionis4096x2160@30 Hz, but theactualresolutionssupported are dependent onthemonitor
being used.
DuetoCPUlimitations,readthefollowingguidelinesbeforeinstallingthememoryinDualChannelmode.
1. DualChannelmodecannotbeenabledifonlyonememorymoduleisinstalled.
2. WhenenablingDualChannelmodewithtwomemorymodules,itisrecommendedthatmemoryof
the same capacity, brand, speed, and chips be used.
