1 Install Your Hard Drive
1. Removethetwoblackenclosurescrews,andslidethe
harddriveholderout.
2. Connectyourharddrive’spowerjacktothewhitesocket,
andthedataporttotheconnectorontheatcable.

Summary

Install Your Hard Drive

Prepare Enclosure for Drive Installation

Remove enclosure screws and slide out the hard drive holder for access.

Connect Hard Drive Internally

Connect the hard drive's power jack and data port to the enclosure's internal connectors.

Secure Hard Drive in Holder

Fasten the hard drive in place using the supplied short screws.

Complete Enclosure Assembly

Slide the hard drive holder back into the enclosure and secure it with screws.

Connect to Your Computer

Connect USB and Power Cables

Connect the USB cable between the enclosure and computer, and the AC adapter to power.

Powering On the Hard Drive

Press the ON/OFF switch to turn the hard drive enclosure on.

Indicator Light Status

The blue light indicates power on; flashing indicates data transfer.

Insert in Stand

Place Enclosure in Stand

Insert the hard drive enclosure vertically into the provided stand.
