Why my Gima OGM-211 fails to turn on?
- CchelseacarterAug 7, 2025
If your Gima Blood Glucose Meter fails to turn on, first replace the battery. If the meter has been in a cold environment, allow it to reach room temperature for 30 minutes before retrying. If the issue continues, remove the batteries for 30 seconds before reinserting them. Other potential causes include a Power On self-check error, an internal calibration check error, removing the test strip during the test, applying the sample too soon, using a contaminated or used test strip, or an insufficient sample. In the latter cases, repeat the test ensuring the test strip remains in place, applying the sample after the blood drop/test strip symbol appears, using a new test strip, and applying enough sample to fill the test strip check window within 3 seconds.
